What is IJCEF

IJCEF aims to support individuals and organisations within Japan and overseas, who endeavour to spread and promote Japanese culture over the world.

From the end of 20^th century, the world has become much more close together. The relation between nations is now not only between governments and industries, but more of a relation between the people of each country. Under these circumstances, Japan has not only attracted interest in its economical aspects, but also in its traditional arts and spiritual culture. For example karate, a traditional style of Japanese martial arts has more than 5 million people training worldwide. More people are expected to gain interest in Japan and its culture in the future.

IJCEF was established to give people all over the globe a chance to have a look at Japanese culture and also to give the best support to teachers who are introducing this culture to others.
